Energy Challenges Symposium- Duke University’s Nicholas Institute

The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University is convening a day-long symposium for stakeholders and thought leaders to discuss these issues, to identify crucial information gaps, and to plot future directions for research and outreach.

When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011

Where: Sarah P. Duke Gardens, 420 Anderson St., Durham, NC 27708

Who Should Attend: State energy officials, federal agency representatives, students, public and private utilities, government agency personnel, NGOs, policymakers and energy investors.

Why Attend: The event will engage a diverse group of stakeholders in timely and practical discussion of the region’s current and future energy challenges, offer up examples of success, and define a research agenda to meet the changing needs of complex energy and political landscapes.

Attendees will have multiple opportunities to network with other decision makers and learn about the depth and breadth of resources available from the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and others working in the region.
