Purpose: Provide a forum for updating and educating interested parties on the latest developments in local, state, regional and national timber related issues/programs impacting Western North Carolina.
Who should attend: Timber purchasers, wood processing facility operators/owners, loggers, landowners, foresters and other natural resource professionals.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs): The meeting has been certified by SAF for (has been submitted for evaluation – usually 6 CFEs with a similar agenda) Category 1 CFcontact hours for Continuing Forestry Education (CFEs) units.

Directions: From Asheville Interstate 26 East and go approximately 9 miles, take Exit #40 (Asheville Regional Airport Exit). At the end of the exit ramp turn toward the airport onto NC Hwy 280. Go past the airport. The road will bear right. Turn right on the first road after the airport: Old Fanning Bridge Road. Cross the French Broad River and the MHCR&EC office building is at the top of the hill on the right.
