Pledged Gifts

A pledged gift extends over a number of years enabling the Foundation to develop long-range financial plans based on predictable income. To make a Pledge, simply fill out the Pledge Form and return it to CNR Development.

Gifts of Real Estate/Land

Planned Giving

The Office of Planned Giving can assist you with making your gift whether a Will Bequest, Charitable Remainder Trust or LIfe Insurance Policy. Contact the Gift Planning Office at 919-515-9076 or via e-mail. Be sure to mention CNR.

Gifts of Securities

To transfer stock or for more information contact the Gift Planning Office at 919-515-9076 or via e-mail.

Gifts-in-Kind

Gifts of property such as equipment, paintings or other art objects can be donated and entitle you to an income tax deduction. Because items of this nature are subject to estate tax, a donation, either during your lifetime or as a bequest under your will, may also produce estate tax savings. To learn more about donating gifts-in-kind, contact CNR Development.

Memorial or Honorary Gifts

A gift made in memory or in honor of an alumnus, student, friend, faculty or staff member of the university is a generous tribute to an individual's life, accomplishments and association NC State. Please provide the contact information for the family/honoree so we can notify them of the gift and send with your check made payable to NC Natural Resources Foundation to: CNR Development, Campus Box 8010, Raleigh, NC 27695

Donors will receive a gift receipt with a thank you message, and we will send the family/honoree a list of the donors and their addresses for personal acknowledgements.
