 Directions to NC State's College of Natural Resources

From I-40,                                                                   Map of central campus

  • Take the Gorman St. Exit, Exit 295 in Raleigh.
  • At the end of the exit ramp, turn onto Gorman Street towards NC State.
  • Travel on Gorman Street for about a mile or two
  • Make a right at the stoplight onto Avent Ferry Rd.
  • Travel on Avent Ferry Rd. for about two miles (you will pass Burger King, and Bruegger’s Bagels at Mission Valley Shopping Center)
  • At the top of the hill, go through the stoplight and cross over Western Blvd. Avent Ferry become Morrill Drive. (You have now entered NC State’s Main Campus.)
  • Make an IMMEDIATE left onto Faucette Dr.
  • Jordan Hall (2800 Faucette) and Biltmore Hall (2820Faucette) are the first and second building on the right, respectively.

From University Open House at Carmicheal Gymnasium,
The 2009 CNR Open House is scheduled for October 17th.

  • Follow the signs to the College of Natural Resources .
  • It's not far, you may want to walk or ride the Wolfline Bus
  • The Gym faces Cates Avenue, travel east on Cates around the curve onto Morrill Drive.
  • Travel up the hill on Morrill toward Western Blvd. (the gym will be on your right, the Track on your left)
  • Just before the Western Blvd. spotlight, turn right onto Faucette Drive.
  • Jordan Hall (2800 Faucette) and Biltmore Hall (2820Faucette) are the first and second building on the right, respectively.
  • Enter the first set of doors to Jordan Hall. The College of Natural Resources Open House activities will begin in the Jordan Hall Addition Lobby.

Parking and Transportation:

When you visit the College of Natural Resources, you may park in any marked space. Go to the Office of Academic Affairs, Room 2018 in Biltmore Hall to obtain a visitor’s parking pass.

A parking pass is not needed during the weekend or after 5:00PM on weekdays.

Parking on campus can be limited, to avoid tickets be sure you are in designated visitor parking . For more information on transporation and parking at NC State visit NC State Transportation Visitor Information.
