Manufacturing Engineer
The manufacturing engineer (ME) is directly responsible for developing, improving and implementing manufacturing processes by precisely analyzing product and process requirements, testing manufacturing methods &equipment, and leading continuous improvement activities. In this role, the ME works both with outside suppliers as well as in the manufacturing process development for the procurement, installation, debugging and runoff of new equipment.
Responsibilities include, tooling/fixture design, development of machine specifications, prepare/maintain work instructions and PFMEA, trouble shooting / required production support and production time studies.
Minimum requirements include: BS in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or other related field. work experience in a production manufacturing position is preferred. Experience with machining, welding or assembly processes preferred. Automotive experience would be a plus. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD & general computer knowledge) required. Self-motivated and highly organized, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written required.

Minimum qualifications are a four-year degree BS in the field of engineering (mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, or pulp & paper, preferred)
