For students attending University of Helsinki
Students are required to have insurance cover in order to obtain a residence permit. Students are personally responsible for purchasing health insurance for the time period of their exchange. UH can assist in application procedures if needed.

For students attending SLU
Students will be insured by SLU for the whole period of studies at the university. The insurance applies in case of accidents. Incoming students are advised to have insurance with a more comprehensive coverage from their home countries. In case you arrange insurance from your home country, bring the relevant documents!
