Natural Resource Technician â Crew Leader
Carolina Wetland Services, Inc. (CWS) is the leader in providing high quality natural
resource solutions throughout the southeastern U.S. We provide turn key solutions for
our clients from a projectâs beginning (wetland delineations) to its end (invasive plant
management).
CWS is seeking a leader to manage and work along side Natural Resource Technicians
that perform Invasive Plant Management, Bioengineering, Erosion Control, and
revegetation using native plants on various ecological restoration projects, including
stream, wetland, and shoreline habitats. Position is permanent full time. Ideal candidate
should possess strong leadership, management, and organizational skills. Position
involves some travel and managing several other field technicians in the completion of
projects within time and budget constraints.
Bachelorâs degree in a Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Wildlife and Fisheries
Management program, or equivalent is a requirement. Strong plant identification skills
are a must. Proficiency in Spanish language is a huge plus. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
and wear a back pack sprayer in hot weather for extended periods of time.
