Summer Internship with RTP area Technology Startup Company
Summer Internship
Sophomore/Junior college internship at a Morrisville startup company. We are developing green technologies for the automotive industry.
Join our team of engineers and explore a career in product development and green.
Responsibilities
Assist build and test of prototype units
Develop and maintain BOM system in MS Access
Use of basic tools such as hand tools, drill press, and soldering
Some light lifting/moving
Limited travel for support of fielded systems
Clean and improve the shop/lab environment
Required Background
Willingness to learn and apply basic engineering knowledge
Background building/testing electrical and mechanical devices
Interest in computers
Sophomore or Junior major in EE, ME, or Industrial Engineering
Attention to details
Desired
Interest in modifying/improving automobiles
Interest in electrical and mechanical products
MS Access
Schedule
40 hour work week
12 week assignment during summer months of 2012
