Hosley Forest

The Hosley Forest is a 252 acre Franklin County property and one of NC State's newer forest acquisitions.
It was donated in 1994 by Wilfred Hosley of Wake Forest and is one of several signature properties that have been generously deeded to the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources as part of our gift-giving program.
The Hosley Forest includes examples of both intensively-managed pine plantations and natural bottomland hardwood stands.
