We intend to continue offering a comprehensive. state-of-the-art program in environmental technology, one that uses real-world research and field assignments as opportunities for students to bring together theory and practice through on-the-job experiences.
We strive to develop a reputation as the best environmental technology program in the nation. We will do this by continuing to offer students a broad-based, interdisciplinary background in enviromental sciences with a special focus on environmental monitoring, assessment and technological issues.
We will also make sure that our laboratory opportunities for students and our original research keep pace with evolving technolgies and new challenges in environmental science. And we will continue to mount state-of-the-art research projects and environmental investigations.
We are developing an on-line Masters Certificate in Environmental Assessment which will allow professionals and landowners to increase their knowledge and professional credentials in this important area.
