Sustainable Forestry Teachers’ Academy
The Coastal Academy will be held June 17-21, 2013 in New Bern, NC. The Mountain Academy will be held June 24-28, 2013 in Asheville, NC. The four-day residential program, offered by NC Project Learning Tree and the Forestry & Environmental Outreach Program, focuses on the social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainable forestry in North Carolina. PGM/Northgreen Partnership a Win-Win
PGA Golf Management students took a classroom case study out of the classroom to analyze Northgreen Country Club golf operation and clubhouse offering suggestions to improve the business and the livability of the community. The partnership was a win-win proposition according to NorthGreen owner Wayne Holloman. “It was amazing to see college kids put that much serious effort into something.” Learn More>>
