Each fall, 25 entering CNR students are selected to participate in this exciting program for incoming freshman, off-campus transfer and on-campus transfer students. The program emphasizes hands on learning, real-world applications and relationship building with faculty, staff, students and community leaders. Come see the brand new lab at NC State's Center for Earth Observation. The new facility is getting rave reviews on its design and innovative layout as well as for its potential as a collaborative research and learning space.

Sustainable Forestry Teachers’ Academy
The Coastal Academy will be held June 17-21, 2013 in New Bern, NC. The Mountain Academy will be held June 24-28, 2013 in Asheville, NC. The four-day residential program, offered by NC Project Learning Tree and the Forestry & Environmental Outreach Program, focuses on the social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainable forestry in North Carolina. PGM/Northgreen Partnership a Win-Win
PGA Golf Management students took a classroom case study out of the classroom to analyze Northgreen Country Club golf operation and clubhouse offering suggestions to improve the business and the livability of the community.
