Congratulations to Winston Salem State University for winning the inaugural Chancellors’ Cup Golf Tournament (June 2012). This tournament is sponsored by the UNC Staff Assembly and is organized to raise money for the Janet B. Royster Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund. Participants included teams from each of the system’s 17 campuses, UNC-TV, the Board of Governors and the President’s Office, and the Royster family.

Thanks to the many volunteers representing the campuses throughout the UNC System, UNC-TV and the family of Janet B. Royster.

Entry fees will be donated to the Janet B. Royster Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for staff development activities throughout the UNC system. Royster was a UNC-TV employee and parliamentarian of the UNC Staff Assembly prior to her recent death.
