PGM Ambassadors
Select first year PGM students take on the role of PGM Ambassadors. These students serve as liaisons to prospective students which includes written and verbal communication, attending meetings and playing golf during prospective student visits and allowing prospective students to shadow them in classes when visiting.
Ambassadors gain valuable leadership experiences by assisting the PGM office with special events such as job fairs and recruiting activities and by attending Leadership Development workshops.
Freshman David Gamble, Bangor, ME, states, “My experience as a PGM Ambassador has been extremely fun and rewarding. I have gained professional experience by engaging with prospective students, attending LDS workshops and participating in team building activities with my classmates. Because of these experiences I feel I have not only been involved with the PGM program, but have also been a positive contributor to our program and the lives of others.”
