To be admitted into the MPA degree in addition to the MPRTM degree:
- Send a memo to the PRTM Director of Graduate Programs (DGP) indicating that you want to pursue the MPA degree coterminous with your MPRTM degree. If the DGP approves, they will send: (1) your memo, (2) copies of the relevant sections of your file (all transcripts, GRE scores, and letters of recommendation), and (3) a request that the MPA program faculty consider you for admission. You are responsible for supplying MPA with any additional materials required to make a decision.
- The MPA admissions committee will review your file and inform you and the PRTM Director if you have been admitted. If you are admitted, the MPA Director of Graduate Programs will send your memo, along with their admissions recommendation, to the Dean of the Graduate School. If you are denied admission your request will not be approved.
- The Dean of the Graduate School will notify you and both programs if your request was approved by the MPA program.
