Doctoral Program Success Stories
PRTM home : Graduate Programs : Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management : Doctoral Program Success Stories

After five years, the Ph.D. program in PRTM continues to mature in its development as the premier doctoral program in the nation.  Since the program’s inception in 2000, seven students have completed their program, four have accepted faculty positions and one works with the Environmental Protection Agency.  Currently, 20 students are enrolled in the doctoral program, two students will defend their dissertation this summer, and three are planning to defend in the fall semester.  We are proud of the progress we’ve made in the past five years.
