North Carolina Decision-Maker Briefings

The College of Natural Resources at NC State has now held two "legislative / decision-maker briefings"- the first in September 2008 on Woody Biomass, Bioenergy and Biofuels and the second in October 2009 on Carbon Markets, Forestry and Forest Products. These briefings, which draw on the expertise of the College's faculty experts have been attended by elected (federal and state) legislative, agency, industry and NGO leaders.

The positive feedback we have received supports our decison to continue this series of "briefings" on hot natural resources topics.

We welcome your interest and look forward to future opportunities to support quality natural resources decison-making.

Please share feedback with us if you attended one of our briefings and/or suggest ideas for future briefings to help us prepare.
