WPS Home : For Industry Professionals : Industry Services : Paper & Pulp Technical Services : Paper Testing & Thermal Analysis Technical Services (PT&TATS)
The Paper Testing & Thermal Analysis Technical Services at NCSU offers the following tests and analyses for paper and related materials, including the thermal analysis of pulp, wood, and polymer composites. Most of these tests are based on TAPPI Standard Test Methods. Other specialized or non-standard tests may be considered, but only after some prior consultation with our PT&TATS managing staff. We put emphasis on the quality of service, especially on the accuracy of testing equipment, careful measurement techniques and methods, and prompt turnover of results.
