Rick Lemaster

Wood Machining and Tooling, Process Monitoring, Surface Quality Evaluation

Background:
Richard L. Lemaster graduated with a B.S. (1977) in Forestry from Oklahoma State University and a M.S. (1979) in Wood Science from Colorado State University. While working on his M.S. he worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Forestry at Colorado State University. He then worked as an Assistant Specialist in the Forest Products Laboratory at the University of California at Berkeley. He has worked as a Program Leader and a Research Leader at the University of California at Berkeley as well. Mr. Lemaster joined the Department of Wood and Paper Science in 1993 as a Research Associate. He is a member of the Society of Wood and Science Technology, the Forest Products Society, the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing, the Acoustic Emission Working Group, and Sigma Xi.
