Because students within the Department of Wood & Paper Science at NC State (WPS) are in such high demand by employers, we have set up a system to help companies manage their interaction with WPS students. Our Student Services Assistants maintain an efficient system that allows employers to identify students with the appropriate background for full-time openings, internships and co-op agreements, contact them with the necessary information, then set up interviews, company presentations and other programs.

Please note that because of the competition for WPS graduates, by spring of each year upcoming graduates in some majors already have several full-time offers in hand. The best time to contact WPS if you are interested in interviewing potential full-time employees is by October or November of the year before graduation.
