Did you know there is a correct way to eat soup? Can you hold a glass of water, balance a plate of appetizers, and mingle without dropping anything? CNR is proud to present the 2019 Business Etiquette Dinner, a perfect opportunity to learn everything you didn’t know you didn’t know.

By the end of the night, you’ll be able to charm and impress any dinner guest with your witty conversation and your impeccable table manners. With the help of our professional presenter, you’ll learn to glide through a formal meal like a pro, so you can focus on hitting the mark with your employers, not missing your mouth with your fork.

What to Expect:

1. A four course meal with etiquette instruction accompanying every course, from bread to dessert
2. Insider advice on how employers evaluate potential job candidates in formal dinner situations
3. Interesting and friendly table talk, along with tips on how to keep conversation flowing in a professional setting
4. Good food, good company, and a great learning experience!

You will be joined by our very own CNR faculty and staff who will be there to assist you throughout the evening.

Cost

Due to the generosity of the Terry Student Assistance and Enrichment Fund, the cost to students is only $7 per person, which includes your meal, mocktail hour and professional instruction. We have a limited number of waivers available for students in need.

Attire

Business Formal Attire is required. More information will be provided to attendees upon confirmation regarding this.

Step 2: Pay your $7. Please note that the actual cost of this event averages $40 per person. We kindly ask if you can no longer attend, let us know as soon as possible so that someone else can benefit from this experience.

  • Tickets are for College of Natural Resources students, faculty, and special guests only.
