Forests are essential to healthy ecosystems, climate regulation, and clean air and water. They create homes for wildlife and humans and provide society with food, fuel, and jobs. Join us as we explore sustainable forestry and careers you can pursue to conserve our forests for the future.
We’ll visit a variety of forest ecosystems throughout the day, including an endangered longleaf pine ecosystem and a managed forest. Transportation will be provided.
Not only will you network with NC State alumni working in the natural resources industry, you can also chat with current NC State forestry students and faculty over lunch (included).
