Sustainable Forestry Event

Experience the many aspects of forest management and sustainable land use through hands-on activities related to tree genetics and breeding, urban forestry and timber production.

We’ll visit a variety of forest ecosystems throughout the day, including an endangered longleaf pine ecosystem. Transportation will be provided.

Not only can you network with NC State alumni with careers in different forestry fields, you can chat with  current NC State forestry students and faculty over lunch (provided).

Discover what a Forest Management or Natural Resources degree is all about.
