Wolf Chat Wed: The Intersection of Sports and Social Justice
Now more than ever, athletes are using their platforms to seek lasting change in society. Join us to discuss how sports has emerged as an effective outlet for activism and social justice awareness. Tonight’s discussion will be led by a sport management undergraduate student, Alexis Bolden. She is completing an independent study and is focusing on the the intersection of sports and social justice. Alexis will present on the topic and facilitate a general discussion with participants.
Wolf Chat Wednesdays were started in August 2020 as a way for students on campus to come together via zoom and have a safe, supportive space to openly share and discuss their successes, struggles, and issues that may be on their minds and in their hearts.
