Important 2016 Dates Announced
Our alumni, donors and friends are a crucial part of ALL ASPECTS of our success. We are excited to announce a few dates that you will want to put on your calendar.
PaperCon Alumni Soiree
We are excited to be a part of PaperCon’s 3rd annual “Alumni Soiree”. PaperCon is in Cincinnati, OH this year from May 15-18. The alumni event will be held Sunday, May 15 from 8 to 9:30 pm. Every year, the team at TAPPI along with the representatives from the schools have made this event better and better. You will want to stop by, say “Hi” to our faculty, staff and students at PaperCon, enjoy good food and pick up your NC State gift. We value the time that you carve out to be a part of this event. It is the highlight of our trip to reconnect with alumni and friends.
Pulp and Paper Foundation 2016 Annual Meeting
Our annual meeting dates have been announced and more information will follow. We did want you to be able to “Save the Date”
- Wednesday, September 7, Paper Industry Career Fair
- Thursday, September 8, Annual Meeting Events and Celebration Banquet
- Friday, September 9, Student TAPPI Golf Tournament at Lonnie Poole Golf Course
This is an idea in the works, driven by our very own alumni! This fall we hope to be able to pull off a FUN, FABULOUS, FOOTBALL (optional) weekend with the classes of 1966, ’76, ’86, ’96 and ’06 to celebrate their 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 year reunions respectively! Somehow, the classes of 1967 and 68 have convinced the class of 1966 to let them come join their group as well. We always say, “the more the merrier”! Any takers from the Class of 1991 to help with a 25 year reunion???? Save the date for October 6-9, 2016
