Out of the schools I visited, I connected with NC State above and beyond anywhere else. The culture, energy and engineering program were beyond anything I had ever experienced.
What activities did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?
I participated in varsity school football, swim, track and field, and AP Art. I also participated in chemistry club, band and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. My favorite activity was art because it’s when I feel I make the most difference.

What are you most excited about as you head to NC State?
The opportunity to grow and develop in all levels; academically, socially and emotionally.
What are you most nervous about as you head to NC State?
Being away from my family for the first time.
What are you going to miss from home?
My parents, brothers and sister, grandparents, friends and family pets.
