We are pleased to share photos of our new patio space ribbon cutting held May 5. Thankfully, sunshine and spring vibes filled the air. The NC State Pulp and Paper Advisory Board fully funded this new student space with Department Head Jingxin Wang and Dean Myron Floyd’s support and appreciation. Additional tables will be delivered before students return in the fall. Providing an extension to our indoor space and a respite from the indoor areas our students frequent, this open air patio exudes peaceful, natural environs to study, grab a bite or meet with friends.

Our thanks to PPAB Executive Director, Allen Sanders for following through with the vision and making this happen for the program. We welcomed former PPAB Executive Director, David Ashcraft, as well as several alumni and donors to visit and view plans for the multiple upgrades planned for PSE spaces as part of the Future Ready Initiative. Our program is 71 years new and still evolving!
