Our graduate programs emphasize hands-on research, teaching and real-world opportunities. Our graduate students advocate for sustainable practices in their fields and have the knowledge, skills and willingness required to succeed as responsible engineers, scientists, teachers and practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since our founding, we\u2019ve been known for research and educational excellence in biomass utilization and the development of sustainable biomaterials. As&nbsp;an incubator for<strong>&nbsp;novel and innovative solutions to industry challenges<\/strong>, we translate and apply research that drives discovery and generates value, advances knowledge through science,&nbsp;serves NC State&#8217;s land-grant mission, and trains future leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our graduate students receive a great deal of <b>faculty, financial and technological support<\/b>.
