The Goodnight Scholars Program at North Carolina State University revealed the 50 recipients selected for its Class of 2023. These recipients were selected from a pool of 100 finalists who participated in the program\u2019s 5th Annual Goodnight Scholars Finalist Interview Day on Saturday, March 2 at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library on NC State\u2019s Centennial Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recipients were interviewed by current and former NC State faculty, staff and alumni, as well as industry representatives from SAS Institute and the Kenan Fellows Program. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in their respective high school careers including stellar academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community engagement and inspiring goals for success in the STEM and STEM education fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe selection process for the Class of 2023 was our most competitive yet,\u201d said Allison Medlin, director of the Goodnight Scholars Program. \u201cThe caliber of applicants and finalists set a new bar for excellence, which is reflected in this exceptional cohort.
