<\/figure>\n\n\n\nNC State\u2019s Student TAPPI members had the privilege of attending this year\u2019s TAPPI Student Summit in St. Petersburg, Florida. This marked my second year at the event, and it was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to network with industry professionals and students from universities across the country. During the Summit, we participated in roundtable sessions, where we listened to insightful presentations from industry experts on a range of topics. A highlight of the event was the \u201cHuman Bingo\u201d activity, a fun and engaging networking opportunity that allowed participants to meet new people and learn interesting facts about them. Additionally, students had the chance to compete in trivia night, the engineering competition, and attend the career fair. Overall Student Summit provided valuable experiences and connections, and I look forward to what next year\u2019s event will offer! – Sara Gregory \u201827<\/p>\n\n\n\n --Savannah Odom '28 and Sara Gregory '27<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a first-year student, I got to experience one of the best parts of TAPPI for the first time \u2013 Student Summit. The students are truly the true heart of Summit. Between the engineering competition, the human bingo, trivia, and countless other activities, I quickly learned the students in our industry are the most welcoming and energetic people! My favorite part of Student Summit were the roundtables. During the roundtables, I sat with ten other students and an industry expert learning about a different topic each time. Some of my favorite roundtables were about how to find the right role for yourself, how to balance personal and professional life, and greenwashing. I learned really valuable information during these sessions and got to network & ask questions with those people.
