This opportunity means&nbsp;a lot to me, and I look forward to joining a community focused on leadership, service, and personal growth. I really look forward to building meaningful relationships and learning from those around me to make a positive impact in my time at State!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sam Addition (right, above) is from Waxhaw, NC.&nbsp; He said, &#8220;I am honored and excited to have been selected as a Caldwell Fellow. I hope to successfully represent both Paper Science &amp; Engineering and the Caldwell Fellows and to make meaningful contributions to each program.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Application to the Caldwell Fellows program is highly competitive.&nbsp; 347 applications were submitted this year, and 30 Fellows were selected.&nbsp; Having two PSE students in that group is strong evidence of the outstanding caliber of new students being recruited into PSE.
