NCSU Wildlife team earns 6 medals at Southeastern Conclave hosted by Virginia Tech

Members of the Leopold Wildlife Club traveled to Smith Mountain Lake on March 12 – 14 to compete at the Southeast Regional Wildlife Conclave hosted by Virginia Tech. Fifteen students competed together in a team field competition for which they took home the third place medal. Other medals earned in individual events included duck calling (Austin Baggarley), cervid calling (Mark Turner), fly casting (Mark Turner), poetry (Worth McAlister), and archery (Ryan Beason). Also, students participated in a wide variety of wildlife related field trips and enjoyed time spent getting to know faculty and students from other southeastern universities.
