On Saturday, May 7, thirty two Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology students received their Bachelor of Science diploma at the College of Natural Resources graduation ceremony at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. Students graduating Cum Laude included Franco Gigliotti, Jennifer Gough, and Kristen Lewey. Magna Cum Laude honors were earned by Samuel Freeze and Holly Weinstein. And the highest of academic honors, Summa Cum Laude, were earned by Chelsea Greenhaw, J. Worth McAlister, Caitlin Mothes, Chad Watson, and Emilee Briggs. Three of our graduates are headed directly to graduate school, while others will start positions with organizations such as the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, the USDA Division of Wildlife Services, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, the National Parks Service, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, North Carolina State University, and private consulting firms. We wish all our FWCB graduates the very best and hope to hear from them often.
