We had an exceptional pool of applicants this year, and the selection process was highly competitive. Congratulations to all of the awardees for their outstanding achievements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ana Cubas-Baez<\/strong> and <strong>Kyle Zampogna<\/strong> received the <strong>Cubbage Family Graduate Student Leadership Award<\/strong>, which recognizes exemplary leadership and service within the department or the local community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lauren Gonzalez<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Bourke<\/strong> were awarded the <strong>Forestry &amp; Environmental Resources Faculty Fellowship for Excellence in Graduate Education<\/strong>, honoring their academic excellence and contributions to the graduate program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alejandra Betancourt<\/strong> was selected for the prestigious <strong>Namkoong Family Graduate Fellowship<\/strong>, awarded for scholarship and ethics in forestry and conservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adarsha Devihalli<\/strong> received the <strong>Dr. James R. and Judy Allen Pick Award<\/strong>, which supports research in wildlife conservation and\/or forestry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our sincere congratulations to all recipients and thank everyone who submitted nominations.
