Geospatial Forum with Mr. Anthony Calamito

October 15, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

As sensors are getting smaller, cheaper and more efficient, data collection is no longer limited to high-end users. It can now be done from a variety of commodity platforms such as commercial drones, consumer automobiles and even the phones in our pockets. We are now collecting more data than humans can interpret manually, and we are looking to AI and live location analysis to help us generate meaningful insights from all that information.  In this forum, Anthony Calamito will discuss several methods being used to automate the analysis of mass quantities of data in mapping.
