Geovisualizations are graphical representations and advanced analytical tools used to interactively explore complex and dynamic multidimensional geospatial data.
We are using emerging technologies, such as immersive virtual environments, tangible geospatial modeling, and eye tracking tools to:
- discover spatio-temporal patterns within complex geospatial and social data
- better understand relationships between phenomenon of interest
- efficiently communicate findings to the general public, stakeholders and decision-makers
Visualizing data and processes with these emerging methods and technologies enables the scientific process to be more transparent and effective at informing policy.
