Transforming spatial data into meaningful and actionable information is central to spatial decision-support models.

Sim TableSpatial decision support models combine emerging methods and tools for the visual exploration, analysis, synthesis and presentation of geospatial information required by natural resource managers, land-use planners, and individual stakeholders. At the Center for Geospatial Analytics, we develop models that evaluate, weight, measure, analyze and even automate decision-making criteria that represent the complexities of the natural and built environment. Additionally, the spatial decision-support models we deploy provide managers the ability to examine alternative outcomes on the fly, in real time, via the emerging capabilities of WebGIS and enterprise geodatabases.
