Stacy Supak Helps Hackers Help Citizens Get Outdoors

At the 2nd Annual Bayes Hackathon in San Francisco, Dr. Stacy Supak mentored a winning team of interdisciplinary, big data hackers that will be heading to Washington, D.C. to present their GObot (Great Outdoors Bot) to government innovators and President Obama. The team won the Bayes Hack 2016 by designing the GOBot tool which uses social media, such as Facebook, to better connect underserved populations to nearby outdoor recreational opportunities.
