Master’s Degree Recognized for Excellence in Program Assessment

NC State University’s Graduate School has selected the Center for Geospatial Analytics’ professional master’s degree in Geospatial Information Science & Technology (MGIST) as one of nine graduate programs honored by the university’s inaugural Excellence in Assessment award. The award recognizes degree and certificate programs that meet NC State’s expectations for quality of assessment and that additionally incorporate multiple best practices in their assessment processes aimed at improving student learning.

The Director of Graduate Programs for the MGIST is Eric Money, the Center’s Associate Director of Professional Education.
