Vukomanovic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jelena uses geospatial analytics to <\/strong>study human dimensions of landscape change and ecosystem services.<strong> She develops participatory research<\/strong> methods using landscape simulation and visualization to explore the complex roles played by sense of place, human decisions, and landscape characteristics in natural resource challenges, such as exurban growth.<strong> Her interests include <\/strong>developing geospatial analytics for\u00a0<strong>fire<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>natural resource management in parks and protected areas<\/strong>, including modeling fire and ecosystem processes,\u00a0forecasting development along park boundaries, and building decision support systems.<\/p>\n<figure
