The symposium is an opportunity for persons in government and private industry with interest&nbsp;in the use of GIS for transportation purposes to gather&nbsp;and share experiences, see state-of-art software, and learn more about this growing field. The Symposium annually attracts over 400 registrants, 30 exhibitors, and provides a map gallery for participants to display paper and Web maps designed by transportation officials.
