Event and Outreach Support

Recruitment Team
The CNR Recruitment Team is composed of members from across the three departments and meets biweekly during the academic year to coordinate recruitment initiatives.

Student Ambassadors
CNR ambassadors assist the recruitment team in activities while gaining leadership skills, professional development, and social connections. To nominate an ambassador, email cnrrecruitment@ncsu.edu.
Policies and Guidelines
- Minors on campus
- NC State’s Minors on Campus policy ensures the welfare of visiting minors. Faculty members engaging with minors should review the policy and contact the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs with any questions.
Scholarships and Student Funding
- CNR scholarships
- About $1 million is awarded annually. All students must complete the PACK ASSIST application each year (priority deadline: Feb. 15).
- Enrichment Fund
- The Terry Student Assistance and Enrichment Fund supports high-impact experiences such as internships, conferences, study abroad, and research.
- Fall: Applications open in August; funds are distributed before fall break.
- Spring: Applications open in January; funds are distributed before spring break.
