External recognition can increase visibility for new research or provide deserving acknowledgment for career achievements and contributions to the field.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Awards and fellowships provide necessary resources that can help faculty build on their research and teaching. Financial support, time and access to an expanded community of scholars are some of the key advantages of receiving an award.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on external awards, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/provost.ncsu.edu\/faculty-resources\/awards-and-honors\/external-awards\/\">Provost Website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CNR Award Deadlines Google Calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CNR has created an Award Deadline Calendar of NC State and other nomination and award deadlines.  This can be added to your calendar.
