Description

Outdoor Access is seeking a business savvy Listing Specialist to drive the expansion of our land in one or more geographical areas. You’ll find this role has lots of touchpoints with our landowners – sales efforts to close leads, account management to onboard and maintain listings, and operations as a member of the customer support team. You’ll follow up on web inquires and work collaboratively to manage listing lead workflow. You’ll take on-call shifts answering phones, responding to inbound inquiries from our platform, and communicating with our members and landowners. You’ll conduct site visits and lead meetings to close listings. While onsite, you’ll capture the essence of what’s on the ground, what and how it will be consumed, and document the wildlife, amenities, and recreational opportunities available on the land.  You’ll help us build the trust that leads to amazing outdoor experiences across our ecosystem, which includes our landowners, members, technology, and the land we help manage.


Salary Starts at $35,000
Skills and Experience


Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Wildlife Management, or similar field
Up to two years of land management experience
Confidence writing listing content that sells
Demonstrated knowledge of what makes a great outdoor recreation location
Strong written and verbal communication skills to a diverse audience group, an outstanding front porch manner, and the confidence to win over landowners on the phone or in the field
Enjoy startup environment: collaboration, growth, changing your mind, and dropping what you are doing for a task that has to get done now
Availability to travel extensively, without constraint
Thrive in trade show settings pitching who we are and how OA works for the good of landowners and members alike
Familiarity with freshwater fish species and habitatsShooting sports and the necessary safety associated with them
Hunting laws and regulations
Land management; fishery and wildlife habitats
Locating and marking property boundaries
Experience in at least one of the following:Big game
Small game
Migratory birds
Predators
