Freese and Nichols has many internship opportunities for the Summer of 2022.  We also have opportunities for Spring and Fall 2022 part-time internships.  These opportunities are in-office, not virtual.  


Majors we hire:



  • Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering

  • Biological and Agricultural Engineering

  • Biosystems Engineering

  • Construction Management

  • Structural/Geotechnical Engineering

  • Coastal/Ocean Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Environmental Science/Geology/Geoscience


Students will have the chance to gain hands on experience and work alongside professional engineers. As an intern you will contribute to projects and apply what you are learning in your college coursework. This is a great opportunity for a student to get experience in a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm. Relocation and housing are NOT provided for these positions.


Description:



  • Perform specific and limited tasks within a broader assignment

  • Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations

  • Assist project manager as needed

  • Collect, adjust, and correlate perform calculations, and recognize discrepancies in results

  • Assist project manager as needed


Qualifications:



  • Current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in one of the majors listed above

  • Experience with Excel, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, GIS is preferred

  • Student organizational involvement preferred
