We are seeking a hands-on leader interested in creating a sustainable future for the environment and our waterways. The Watershed Maintenance and Compliance Manager (WMCM) is crucial to the success of the business and is regarded as the first line of management for our Service Delivery teams.
The WMCM is responsible for keeping the Service Delivery team on a challenging schedule during the growing seasons while gathering information for the potential rehabilitation and/or repair of stormwater wetlands, biofiltration systems, proprietary underground storage units, and drainage conveyance infrastructures utilizing Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater Control Measures (SCM).
Specific Duties:
- Leading a team of watershed management Service Technicians in maintaining and improving storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding and erosion
- Identifying and documenting stormwater drainage issues needing repair
- Operating and maintaining company equipment which includes a pick-up truck & trailer
- Completing maintenance & inspection reports and tracking crew expenses
Possess an analytical approach to stormwater drainage management
Proficient with mobile technology (i.e. iPads, Laptops, Email, etc.)
The WMCM must be willing to travel and be away from home 0-3 days per week
Able to perform duties in all types of weather conditions in order to monitor effectiveness of SCMs
