Position Overview
A Fiber Supply Associate (FSA) serves a 2 to 3-year assignment in the initial role and with proven results and leadership, a Fiber Supply Associate’s career could lead to future leadership roles within the company inside and outside of the fiber supply organization.

Main Responsibilities
FSAs are responsible for the purchase and delivery of fiber to a paper mill. Fiber includes: pulpwood, chips, recycled fiber, and fiber fuel (biomass). FSAs support in raw materials acquisition, harvesting, logistics coordination, contract negotiations, and inventory management. FSAs may also oversee relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with contracts and company policies and procedures, including financial, safety, and environmental performance. Activities are divided between the mill, field, and office. An FSA will be expected to analyze and interpret data to help solve problems and improve the effectiveness of the organization.

ï‚· Bachelor’s degree (Forestry, Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or other similar degree programs)
ï‚· Authorized to work in the U.S.
ï‚· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ï‚· Self-starter as demonstrated by prior summer or intern work experience and/or involvement in campus activities, clubs, student government, etc.
ï‚· Demonstrated leadership skills
ï‚· Candidates should have a 3.0 GPA in their core degree program
