This position is an exciting opportunity and will provide invaluable work experience in a growing company. We have multiple opportunities in the field of engineering available at several of our US Nitrogen and Phosphate locations.
This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.
Location: Aurora, North Carolina, USA
Start Dates: January or June 2022
Length of Terms: 6 months
This position is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
- Assist the department with various duties, including:
- Monitor the tailings management area, brine disposal, air emissions, and hazardous waste program
- Help complete the site’s annual groundwater and surface water sampling program
- Implement changes to reduce overall site environmental impact
- Assisting with the preparation of memos, letters and presentations for the Environmental department
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled and in an Environmental Engineering or Chemical/Biology Program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
