Description

The Product Management Associate manages the day-to-day activities of the assigned product lines. This person has an expert level of knowledge about the products that he or she manages. The Product Management Associate continuously looks for improvements in the assigned products and manages changes related to the products. This position works closely with the Product Managers and Marketing Communications team. Successful candidates are those who can balance big picture, strategic-level understanding while also managing smaller day to day activities. This position requires frequent interaction with Product Managers, Project Managers, Marketing Communications, and key customer contacts.


 


Job Duties may include:


 


·        Manage product-sustaining projects and changes


·        Identify and propose solutions for supply chain, regulatory, and sales risks related to SunTech’s products


·        Continuous improvement of the assigned products, including cost reductions


·        Answer product-related questions externally and internally


·        Manage all labeling for assigned products


·        Work with Product Managers to manage product-related projects


·        Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) data, including complaints, to be used for new product development


·        Work with Marketing Communications group to manage product documentation, including labeling, brochures, and advertising as needed


·        For new product development projects, assist Product Managers in upstream marketing activities and data collection


·        Work with Marketing Communications group on product launch activities


 


KPIs: Product cost, product lead time, product complaints

The Product Management Associate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, enjoy being immersed in the market to understand user problems and discover and deliver innovative solutions. The candidate must demonstrate:

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to work in cross functional teams

· Analytical and problem-solving ability

· Self-motivated, proactive and detailed-oriented

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite required

Experience: 1+ years of Product Management related experience preferred

Education: BS/BA degree in a technical field required
