Summer Internship Program Overview
Novozymes’ Summer Internship Program provides a wide range of opportunities for current college students. We pride ourselves in offering real-world projects and providing interns with multiple networking opportunities to help you learn and grow both personally and professionally. Summer internships are offered for undergraduate students (minimum sophomore standing), as well as graduate students (MS & PhD).


Summer Internships will last for 12 weeks, are full time (40 hrs/week), and will start in May 18, 2020. To be considered for an internship, your resume and cover letter must be received by January 15, 2020. You will hear back from Novozymes in late January regarding your status in our process.


Please note: These internships will work in our Franklinton, NC location.


Process Engineering Internships
Our Production and Optimization departments are looking for great interns for next summer and while specific projects are still being worked out, we typically host interns in the following departments:
- Fermentation
- Recovery
- Granulation
- Optimization – Upstream & Downstream


Novozymes’ hiring managers will match candidates to the group and project for which you’re best qualified.


In these positions you need to:
• Be currently enrolled in a BS, MS or PhD degree program focusing in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related concentration
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (PLEASE INCLUDE GPA ON RESUME)
• Relevant coursework and extracurricular experience (internships, lab experience, student organization experience) strongly preferred
