Position Purpose:

The North Carolina Football Cub (North Courage and North CarolinaFC) is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and driven individual, to join the Merchandise Department on a regular, part-time basis. The position will be responsible for the production of merchandise, fulfillment of online orders, and management of gameday sales and staff. The Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for exceeding customer expectations and providing a customer experience that is reflective of a model professional sports franchise.

Essential Functions: 
-Oversee embellishment of merchandise that will be sold to customers
-Fulfill all online orders in a timely and professional manner
-Manage gameday sales including setting up front gate tent for sales prior to gates opening, stocking inventory for all merchandise locations, dealing with potential customer issues during the game, ensuring proper functioning of POS system, and tear down and clean up after the fans have exited the stadium
-Manage gameday staff to achieve objectives
-Execute customer communication including calls and emails 
-Assist with office related tasks including reporting 
-Provide feedback on designs and generate ideas for new merchandise
-Manage all inventory for both NCFC and NC Courage
-Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
The individual must possess the following knowledge and skills while demonstrating that he/she can perform the essential functions of this position.
-Minimum 6 months working in a sports environment, preferably in merchandising
-Strength in time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with the public and internally in a professional manner
-Exceptional analytical, planning and project management skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to remain focused on goals and work independently
-Professionalism, motivation, enthusiasm, and a passion for sports, specifically soccer
-Ability to work long, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Ability to adapt in a fast pace and constantly changing environment
-Ability to lift up to 40lbs and remain standing for extended periods of time
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other computer skills
-Willingness to learn and master new software programs
